Sevenoaks Allotment Holders' Association

Supporting Sevenoaks' allotment community for over 100 years

About SAHA

The Sevenoaks Allotment Holders' Association (SAHA) is a volunteer-run, non-profit group that represents plot holders, runs the Trading Centre at Quaker’s Hall Lane, and builds community through advice, events, and shared resources for local growers.

Our History

SAHA has supported growers in Sevenoaks for a century and marked its 100th anniversary in 2025. From "Dig for Victory" to today's climate-friendly food growing, the Association has helped generations enjoy the health and social benefits of allotment gardening.

More about our history

The association began when local plot holders banded together to secure seed and fertiliser supplies during the First World War. Over the decades SAHA members have stewarded new sites, supported school gardening clubs, and preserved knowledge from experienced growers so that allotments remain a vibrant part of Sevenoaks life.
