Summer Solstice Afternoon Tea – Saturday 22nd June, time tba

2018’s inaugural event was so successful that it has made it on to the calendar. This annual gathering of SAHA members, family and friends bring-and-share food and drink and enjoy the long – and hopefully warm – afternoon sitting in Bill’s Orchard with stunning views of the North Downs.

Open Day – Sunday 14th July, 10am – 3pm

SAHA’s annual Open Day is an opportunity for plot holders to show off their amazing plots to the public, whilst raising valuable funds for charity (currently Hospice in the Weald). There is a Scarecrow Competition, various stalls, activities for children and of course, tea and cake!

Autumn Events

Autumn Show – Saturday 7th September

Our annual show is a unique opportunity for plot holders to exhibit their prize fruit, veg and flowers or to enter the culinary or art/photography classes to win much-coveted category trophies and certificates. A fun day for everyone to enjoy and we certainly don’t take it too seriously!

Apple picking,  juice pressing, mulled apple juice, apple muffins… a celebration of all things ‘apple’! Come and join us in Bill’s Orchard, bring your own apples for juicing (and containers for your juice) or pick apples from our community orchard to enjoy at home.
